Assessment Criteria
Competition will be evaluated on a 100-point system based on the following criteria:

- Technicality (40%) Intonation, Rhythm, Tonal Qualities, Dynamics, and Balance;
- Musicality (40%) Phrasing, Interpretation, and Style;
- Overall impression (20%) Expression and Overall Artistic Impression.
The Group or Ensemble that achieves a Gold or Gold with Honors with the highest score in each category will be awarded the title of “Category Champion”.
The Group or Ensemble that achieves a Gold or Gold with Honors with the highest score in each category will be awarded the title of “Category Champion” and may be invited to perform in the Gala Grand Prix.
Special Awards
The jury may award special prizes or recommend a winning group for participation in the Gala Concert & Grand Prix Competition at their discretion.

The registration fee for local and international participating in the festival is a one-time charge of SGD$ 330 for Chamber Music A1/A2/A3 Category and SGD$ 450 for Chamber Music A4 Category. The deadline for the registration for the 12th Singapore Raffles International Music Festival is 1st May 2026. These fees are non-refundable.

The items in the list below must accompany every festival application, failing which the application would not be considered complete.
